Lisa Haney, General Manager

Lisa Haney has been a fixture at Webber Restaurant Group since 2004, holding numerous important roles.  She led the team at Gibbet Hill Grill from 2004 to 2015, as AGM and then as general manager.  Soon after The Bancroft’s 2014 opening, Lisa was brought on as Operations Manager to use her keen organization skills and deep understanding of the Webber Restaurant Group culture to help grow the restaurant into one of Massachusetts’ most popular steakhouses.  In 2021, Lisa was on the opening team at The Double Bull and in 2022 she returned to The Bancroft.   Lisa’s attention to detail and effectiveness with the staff is evident during service and even outside the restaurant too – she has officiated several staff members’ weddings! In her spare time Lisa enjoys spending time with her family and friends and antique shopping.  She loves jury duty, a great labeling machine, and of course, her two grown sons.

Taylor O’Neill, Events Manager

Taylor O’Neill, a Tyngsboro native, boasts a diverse history of hospitality experience, having held all front-of-house positions prior to joining The Bancroft management team.  Her attention to detail and organization stood out from the beginning and she was a natural fit to manage our private events.  When she is away from The Bancroft she loves to shop and explore new restaurants. Taylor is a Disney enthusiast and a full-fledged Swiftie, in fact, she has been to Walt Disney World over 50 times and she can recite the lyrics to any Taylor Swift song.

Marcelo Pineda, Executive Sous Chef

Chef Marcelo moved to Boston in 1998 from Medellin, Columbia.  He began working in restaurant kitchens upon his arrival and worked hard learning from some of the best at Boston’s finest restaurants.  The chefs he worked for, recognized his potential and began mentoring him in supervisor and sous chef positions. One of those chefs was our own, Chef Mario Capone, who subsequently made Chef Marcelo the Executive Sous Chef of The Bancroft, leading the culinary team on day-to-day operations.  When Chef Marcelo isn’t in the restaurant he enjoys gardening and cooking traditional Columbian food for his wife and family.
